Insurance/Payments

Veda currently accepts Cigna, United Healthcare, Optum, and Comp Psych. If you have a different health insurance provider, insurance reimbursement may still be available at the “out-of-network” level. Veda can discuss this with you in more detail at your initial evaluation. You can check your coverage carefully by asking you insurance provider the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is my condition or diagnosis(es) reimbursable?

  • At what rate will I be reimbursed for an out-of-network provider?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payments may be made with credit or debit card, HSA/FSA card, PayPal, cash or check on the day of appointment. Other important information about collection of payment will be covered in your consent forms at the initial session.
