Veda Arias MS, NCC, LPC

Veda's mission is to provide quality and meaningful counseling for her clients so they can achieve the life they envision and desire. Her approach to therapy is to facilitate a non-judgmental, unbiased environment where her clients can begin their journey towards healthy change in their life. Veda's direct and caring approach helps clients learn how to face various life challenges and learn techniques to feel happier, less stressed, and empowered.

She has worked in various non-profit agencies and inpatient mental health hospitals throughout the metroplex. Her experience combined with her passion to help people heal, makes counseling feel welcoming and safe which helps clients reach their goals and transform their lives. Veda is certified in one of the nation's best evidenced- based couples therapy, Prepare & Enrich. Prepare & Enrich helps couples identify relationship strengths, gain understanding about their dynamics, and develop skills such as communication and conflict resolution. Veda is also a Certified Compassion Fatigue therapist and Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional.

Veda earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, graduating Cum Laude, from University of Texas at Dallas and earned her Masters of Science in Counseling & Developmental, emphasis in mental health counseling, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Texas Woman's University. Veda is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). 


In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters, gardening, exercising, and exploring new adventures. 

Shavana Lopez, LPC-S, NCC

For the past 17 years, Shavana has worked with a variety of clients all aiming for the same goal- peace, and happiness. She works with individuals, couples, and families. With individuals; depression, anger, and anxiety are areas of expertise. Engaged/married couples experiencing intimacy and communication barriers can learn new tools to help their marriage effectively. She is a Certified Prepare Enrich Therapist and works with couples to improve their relationships.

She believes that the problem is, at times, focused on entirely and a solution is never looked at. Shavana strongly believes that therapy does not have to be forever. Her office hours are flexible and can accommodate any working family. She strives to help her clients realize that you do have the ability to be happy in life.

Shavana holds the highest accreditation recognized by the State of Texas for a Master's level counselor supervisor (LPC -S) and maintains the most senior level accreditation recognized nationally (NCC). In therapy, challenging issues that you encounter every day will be addressed. Shavana earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, from the University of Texas at Dallas and earned her Masters of Science in Counseling & Developmental, emphasis in mental health counseling, from Texas Woman's University. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Psychology from Texas A&M Commerce.

In her free time, Shavana enjoys staying active by boxing, running, and playing with her kids. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, teaching Psychology at Dallas County Community College, and spending time with her family.
